Big changes yet again, I' ve just been informed today Shady has been given a fantastic job opportunity working full time at a law firm. Her last day working for Moms 2 Maids will be September 10th. We will of course wish her all the best!

We had an amazing 4 years working together and adore all of our clients so much and thank you all for being so awesome to work for!
The next step I will be taking will not be an easy one

What does this mean for moms 2 maids?

I'm honestly not sure at the moment, I know I will not be looking to replace shady, I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know what my next step is.

Covid-19 restriction are back in place

*We will be masked once again in clients home*

****Attention Clients****

A few changes are coming into play, starting October 1, 2021.

Some of these changes are as follows:

*We will only be servicing the Juniper area 1 day a month (currently full)

*We will only be servicing the Barnhartvale area 1 day a month (currently full)

*We are in Aberdeen area 2 days a month (currently full)

*Mondays are our Northshore/Brock area day
(Currently full)

*Pineview/Dufferin are 2 times a month (currently full)

*Sahali/Downtown are 3 days a week (currently full)

*Each day is set to certain areas in town and we are full. We cannot change your day if you must miss your cleaning slot.

*We do NOT work statutory holidays. If your day falls on a stat holiday, we miss your day and come back on your next regularly scheduled day.

*If cancelling your clean happens on a regular basis, your spot will be filled with someone off of our waitlist.

*If you or anyone is sick in your household, please advise us and we will make the call to either still come in masked or skip your clean. We want to keep the colds and flu's to a minimum and we will also not come to work if we are sick.

*Cleaning fees will also see an increase due to the rising costs of everything. For the last 2 years, we have charged $70/hr for the 2 of us. As of October 1st, our rate will increase to $75/hr.

Our wait list is growing and we will do our best to accommodate people. However, at this moment we are booked solid!

Ola, fyi I have farm fresh eggs ready to sell now if your interested, comes with personal delivery on your cleaning day $5 a dozen $7 for 18 eggs, no pressure but just let me know before cleaning day if your interested! First come first serve!

Hello everyone, we need to inform you that we will not be working the week of August 24th to 28th. Sarah and her family have purchased a new home and it all happened rather quickly. This time is needed to move and get things settled before the school year begins in September. You will all be on your regularly schedule days afterwards so you will only be missing this week. Thank you for your understanding and we'll see you soon.

Friendly reminder to keep ourselves safe! We would really appreciate if our clients are out of house while we cleaning, and or we be both be masked, numbers are climbing, people are being careless, and we want to continue working. Let's do our part be safe!
FyI.. I am now traveling to the lower mainland every weekend for my sons soccer. My bubble has just expanded much bigger. Please don't hesitate to resschedule if you feel more comfortable.

Back to business update.
We hope everyone has been safe and enjoying the down time we were forced to have.
The girls and I have had a meeting today for a plan back to work.
The 3 of us have underlining medical concerns and or have valnurable seniors living in our houses so for that we do have to be extra cautious as our families health comes first.

We will be slowly starting up the week of june 8 and only doing 1-2 houses a day. ( not the 3-5 we normally do)

Here is what our new guidelines will look like

1. Open to cleaning for clients who have also been strictly isolated and in low risk.

2. We ask that our clients leave their houses while we are there to clean.

3. We will not come to work if we have any slight feel of an illness coming and ask our clients to reschedule if they have been or are sick or have traveled to a another city.

4. We will have gloves on in each house, and sanitize before and after each house. We will also change our socks in each house.

5. We will be cleaning more with bleach and water as we feel it's the best to kill all viruses including covid-19.

6. All our equipment and supplies will be sanatized before entering a new home.

7. We will continue to be safe and practice social distancing in our own private lives to ensure we are safe for our families and clients.

We appreciate everyone's patience and we look forward to slowly start up and hoping by the fall if safe to do so we can be back to full swing of things.

We will continue to monitor the situation and take action to keep us all safe and healthy.
