How to join Grande Prairie Babywearing Lending Library
1.) Like our page!
2.) Attend a minimum of one babywearing play date. Play dates will be held on the second Thursday of the month. This is to create community within our group and to help you learn how to use your carrier or any of the carriers in our library. If you are unable to join us at our play dates we do ask for a $50 deposit on
carriers that will be returned when the carrier is returned.
3.)Pay an Annual Fee of $30 or $15 for 3 months. This fee goes directly to adding carriers to our library. $30 fee will be waived if you donate a carrier to the library. Details:
-You are able to borrow any available carrier from our Lending Library for two week periods. Check out the carriers available to borrow in this album

-The admin in charge will be responsible for checking any returned carriers and collecting any late, damage or loss fees payable.
-The member borrowing a carrier will be responsible for returning the carrier on the date specified and in the same condition in which it was loaned. If the carrier has become dirty or smelly for any reason the member will be responsible for washing the carrier, as per the care label. If no care label is available the member should contact the GP Lending Library for appropriate instructions.
-If the carrier is lost, stolen or damaged whilst being borrowed the member will be required to pay an amount that will cover the cost of a replacement. Any monies raised from late returns, damaged, lost or stolen carriers will go towards the purchasing of new carriers for the library.
-From now on there will be set pick up and drop off days for everyone. If you are interested in borrowing any of the carriers let me know ASAP so that I can add you to the wait list. I will edit the pictures in the album "Available to Borrow" with the wait list. Please get a hold of me at least 24 hours before your pick up/drop off date to make arrangements. If we don't hear from you we will have to move to the next person on the list.
-We will be holding our play dates at Parent Link. Play dates will be on the second and forth Thursday's of the month from 10:00-11:30am. Pick ups and drop offs are done at the Playdates.
-All drop offs will be done at the beginning of each play date and pick ups will happen at the end of each play date. All carriers must be at every play date so that other members can see and try out carriers during that time. Unless we have made other arrangements with you in advance, as per the rules late charges will apply to those carriers not returned before or at the play dates. If you are unable to drop off at the play date you are welcome to drop off carriers at either admins house ahead of time. Same with if you are unable to pick up from the play date.
-If you are on the list to borrow a carrier it is your responsibility to make arrangements to pick up the carrier. Please check the album to see when it is your turn to borrow and message the page to make arrangements or let us know you will be at the play date. If we don't hear from you the carrier will be passed on to the next on the list.
-Please try to refrain from adding your name multiple times to the same carrier if there is a wait list on the carrier. It is only fair to let everyone have a chance to borrow the carriers. If there is no one wait list feel free to add you name to the list a second or third time to borrow a carrier.
