Chimney Sweep Season Is Here!

🚨 NEW THIS YEAR — NEIGHBOUR BOOKING REWARDS 🚨

We’ve made it easier (and more affordable) to get your chimney sweep done this year 👇

We charge $200 plus tax for a chimney sweep.

If you and your neighbours book together on the same day, everyone saves 💰

Here’s how it works:
✔️ Each neighbour booked = $20 OFF their own chimney sweep
✔️ The person organizing = $20 OFF per neighbour

Example:
👥 2 neighbours = $40 OFF
👥 5 neighbours = $100 OFF
👥 10 neighbours = FREE chimney sweep 🔥

Program Rules (please read):
• Applies to one home per booking (not per chimney)
• All homes must be booked for the same day & area
• Must be booked between April 1 – May 31
• Appointments must take place between April 1– August 31
• Discount is finalized once all bookings are confirmed
• If someone cancels, discounts adjust accordingly
• Cannot be combined with other offers

In the winter months, we are independent loggers. We run a small operation, which allows us to keep our guys on full time, all year.

We work with the MNRF & BMFC to ensure sustainably; to manage & preserve the ecological treasures that are our back yards.

We hand cut each tree & skid it out. We rely on local truckers to haul our timber to the local mills; or to our wood yard, where we produce & sell firewood to our neighbours around the county & beyond.

Our Spring Firewood Deal runs until the end of March…

🔥 Wood Stove Install — From Quote to Cozy
When Jerry first reached out, he needed help installing his wood stove after his original installer backed out. We came by for a free quote to assess what materials he already had on site — and were happy to find we could reuse several of the components he had purchased, helping keep his project on budget. 💰

The main challenge? His beautiful (but very tall!) cathedral ceilings.
With nearly 19 feet of black stove pipe to install, reaching the ceiling safely was no small feat. Luckily, Jerry still had scaffolding on-site from another project, so Jordan was able to get everything set up for a safe and precise install.

Jobs like these really showcase the importance of experience, adaptability, and having the right gear for the job.

With the weather we have had over the weekend we are without power, cell service and internet. We are fine and have back up heat!

Don’t forget to make sure your dryer vents and exhaust vents for your propane furnace are also uncovered! Make sure to have a working CO2 alarm in your home at all times.

❄️🚒❄️ Winter Safety Reminder ❄️🚨❄️

Fire Chief Baughman would like to remind everyone that with the large amounts of snow we have recently received, it is important to make sure that your Civic Address (911) Sign is clear of snow and debris. This allows first responders to quickly and accurately locate your home in case of an emergency.
So, when you are out clearing the end of your driveway, take an extra moment to make sure your 911 sign is not buried or caked with ice and snow.
