The dandelion may be one of the most overlooked flowers on earth, but its symbolism is surprisingly beautiful.
People often say it represents the **sun, moon, and stars** — all in one tiny plant.
Its bright yellow flower looks like the sun.
Its white puffball seed head resembles the moon.
And when its seeds drift into the air, they look like tiny stars scattered by the wind.
Botanically, dandelions are also remarkable. They can grow in tough places, provide early food for pollinators, and spread their seeds with incredible efficiency. What many people dismiss as a w**d is actually a plant built for survival.
That is why the dandelion has become a quiet symbol of resilience, wishes, hope, and transformation.
It begins as sunlight.
It becomes moonlight.
Then it sends its stars into the world.
