Just because it looks clean, doesn’t mean it’s disinfected ‼️

This is something a lot of people don’t realize.

Watch as I demonstrate 😁

Step 1. Rinse and “stream” up. This process helps loosen dirt and soap scum. It also helps your cleaning product apply more evenly. 🚿

Step 2. Let it sit. Leaving the product to do its job. Helps actually disinfect and loosen grime further.

Cleaning and disinfecting are NOT the same and if you’re not following contact time, you’re probably just cleaning. 🫧

**During this step I apply product to the toilet and sink so it can sit while I scrub the tub.** 🚽

Step 3. Scrub down every surface. Use a magic eraser and use some elbow grease to make sure you are actually removing the build up. 💪

Step 4. Rinse! This parts the easy part. Rinsing all the product and grime down the drain. ** if you don’t have a hand held shower head. I encourage you to use a microfibre and bucket** 🪣

GO THE EXTRA MILE…

Step 5. Squeegee and dry the shower! While I didn’t do this step for the video, I highly encourage everyone to at least squeegee! By doing so and drying down your shower, You actually reduce mold and mildew buildup! You know that “pink” and eventually “black” stuff? It only happens when the surfaces stay wet! 👍

If you are feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about where to begin cleaning, follow this step-by-step approach 💛.

This is the precise method I employ when cleaning seems like a daunting task.

1. Begin by decluttering. Pick up any trash, return items to their designated places, and avoid cleaning around clutter, as this will only lead to frustration.

2. Start from the top. Dust ceiling fans, vents, shelves, and the tops of furniture, as everything falls downwards.

3. Prioritize dry cleaning before wet cleaning. Dust or vacuum surfaces before applying any cleaning products to prevent turning dust into mud.

4. Wipe down surfaces, including counters, tables, cabinets, and appliances. Work from left to right to ensure thorough coverage.

5. Focus on detailed cleaning in specific areas, such as sinks, stovetops, and bathrooms, which require extra attention. Take your time in these areas.

6. Clean glass and mirrors last to maintain their cleanliness.

7. Finally, attend to the floors by vacuuming first and then mopping. This should always be the final step to avoid redoing the floors.

If this process still feels overwhelming, focus on a single step and stop there – every bit counts.
