Here is the best window cleaning recipe
Get your bucket and fill 1/4 full of water
Then add 1 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon sinlight dish soap(this is the best for cleaning)
1 teaspoon of jet dry
Take a foam window squeegy or boat brush dip it into bucket and scrub one window and rinse with hose off. Let the window air dry while you clean another window. Repeat until all windows are done.
The great thing about this is you don't get water spots because of the jet dry.
Cheers

I guess its been awhile since i posted anything. I have been more than busy with cleaning. I love my job and all my clients. I love that i can make a difference insomeones lives.
One of my clients (a 90 year old German lady) she said to me as i walked into her house this morning. "What would you like for Christmas? "
I said, "well, you give me a job which helps me everyday. I'm thankful to be here right now."
She smiled and said, "thank you for saying that. Can i make you a cup of tea?"
I smiled and said, "that would be very nice."
The conversation goes on from there.
I help all my clients in many ways, i never know from one week to the next what that would be, but now i can change the guts in the toilet, and other small plumbing jobs, or it might be that i take my 90 yr old friend/client out for a walk around the block to make sure she doesn't slip on the ice, or even changing light bulbs or sheets, the list goes on. I love my job every day and i am greatful for everyone who is apart of my everyday.
Have an awesome 2018 year. Every year is YOUR YEAR

Sink drains plugged try this. Kitchen; pour salt down until it starts to fill up then take boiling water and pour it down the sink. You might need to do the salt again.
You can also use baking soda and boiling water.
Bathroom sink; take the plug out by reaching underneath the sink and untwisting the thing that has the lever for the plug and pull it out a little to release the plug, it should come out. MAKE sure that you twist the thing back in. Then take all hair you can get out of the drain, if this doesn't work then you can use the salt or baking soda and boiling water trick.
Hope this helps

One of my clients just paid $85 plus $5 for gas just for him to spend about 5 minutes to unplug the toilet.
Try this; take about one to two cups of dish soap and pour into the toilet. Then plunge it will help get the soap down to where it is plugged. It is almost fun because there will be lots of bubbles. Then leave for awhile. Come back with boiling water and pour into the toilet. As you pour the hot water down it will flush on its own. Then flush again just to satisfy yourself that it truly did work. We'll done! Now you can pay yourself $90.

Who wants to win a free two hour clean/organizing, sewing alteration/lesson or an evening of childcare?
All you have to do is answer these questions

1-What part or parts of the house is your least favorate to clean/organize and why?

2-Do you have items that need alterations, what are they? Or would you like to learn to sew and how much would you be willing to pay to learn?

3-If you had a chance to get away with out the kids, what would you be willing to pay for someone to take care of your child(ren) for a weekend? (factor in the cost of food, activities...that the care provider gives)

Write a comment for each question and get your name into a draw on February 29, 2014.

It seems that people are interested in getting organized. I would like to hear about something that has helped you get organized. It could be a filing system, bins in your closet. How are you organized?
