Open since November of 2009, Rev Tattoo is the place for art of Sean Hill, tattoo and piercing for the average individual. I attempt to break the stereotypes of the modern tattoo parlour, tattoo artist, and tattoo culture by exampling a clean, sterile, unthreatening environment. In this process, feeling free to communicate with your artist is key. It is necessary to be able to ask the artist anyth

ing from artistic input to cleaning practices. In recalling my first trip to a tattoo parlour, I was scared, and I want to change this for fresh-skinned, and the veteren inkee.

General information

All of my needles and tubes come in a sterile packaging. They are one time use and are disposed of in a safe and proper manor after use. I use clip cord covers and machine covers to protect all of my equipment from blood born pathogens and other infectants. All surfaces that may come into contact with my machine or sterile components are covered during the tattoo process to prevent spread if a blood born pathogen is present. I have coil, swashdrive rotary, and standard rotary machines (although I prefer my rotary, I find them more reliable for layin' ink). Through out the year, I am in Calgary, AB, and Orillia, ON.
