🚨controversial organizing opinion: when it comes to my clothes, I prefer to fold and stack on closet shelves versus putting everything in bins 😬

I like to see all my options when I open my closet as opposed to having to dig through bins and baskets but I know some people will disagree with me..

not going to lie, I have been stuck in a rut for the past few weeks since the restrictions have been tightened again in Ontario.

so, until I’m able to get back out there (which I can’t wait for!), small at home projects will have to do😀

SWIPE to see the power of decluttering 🤩

by sorting through every single item that came out of this closet, the client was able to really evaluate what they wanted to keep and what needed to stay in this space - and the outcome speaks for itself!

decluttering has left lots of room to grow as needs change over time - and even without product, it already looks much better!

no clutter = one less area to tidy at the end of each day and that’s a huge win in my books!

Basement storage rooms are not the most glamorous spaces, but just as important to keep organized and clutter free as any other part of the house!

Starting with this room has created a solid foundation where the client can now be intentional with what they are relocating from other areas of the house in here. Having systems put in place keeps everyone in the household accountable so that the space can be maintained and stays organized in the long run.
