Today on International Women’s Day, we’re reflecting on this year’s theme: “Balance the Scales.”

At a global level, that conversation touches on big issues — justice, equality and opportunity. But on a personal level, the idea of balancing the scales can feel a lot more real.

As a female-founded business that has operated in our community for over 13 years, we’re constantly reminded of just how much women balance every single day.

From the women in our office coordinating the moving parts behind the scenes, to the incredible women in the field delivering our services, many of our team members are also juggling families, school runs, caring responsibilities and everything else life throws their way.

And the same can be said for so many of our clients — women running businesses, managing households, supporting their families and contributing to our community in countless ways.

Today we simply want to recognise and celebrate the strength, resilience and dedication of the women around us — in our team, our clients and our wider community.

We’re proud to work alongside so many strong, capable women every day, and grateful for the role they play in our team, our clients’ businesses and our community.

You may have spotted our new vans out on the road across Yeppoon, Rockhampton, and Blackwater — helping our teams get where they need to be, with everything on hand to do the job properly.

We’ve had some really positive feedback from our team, who are feeling supported and set up for success, which is exactly what we want.

And yes — we’re also quietly excited to be rolling out our updated logo.

We might be serious about the serious stuff, but we definitely get excited when progress happens.
