🚽✨ S-BEND WARRIORS – VOLUNTEERS WANTED AT WOODFORDIA! ✨🚽

Hello legends, throne custodians, and toilet jedis!

Several great events are coming up at Woodfordia, and Captain Poo-Bar is assembling the mighty Intergalactic S-Bend Warriors once again.

If you’d like to volunteer and spend some time at Woodfordia, here are a few upcoming opportunities:

🌿 Woodfordia Open Day – Sunday, March 29, 2026
A relaxed community open day. Café and General Store open, site walks, swimming at Lake Gkula and a chance to show friends the property.
Free camping for the weekend if you want to stay.

🏕 Lake Gkula Easter Camping – 2–19 April 2026
One of the most chilled and beautiful times to be at Woodfordia.
Swimming in the lake, live music at the Lake House, workshops, and yoga. Great community & family-friendly safe environment.

Volunteer around 4.5 hours per day cleaning amenities, and in return receive:
• Free camping
• Breakfast, lunch & dinner included (conditions apply)
• Free coffee each day
• Hot showers
• A relaxed family-friendly vibe

🌱 The Planting Festival – 1–3 May 2026
Help keep the amenities sparkling while the community plants thousands of trees and celebrates with music and culture.

🧘 Pranafest – 5-7June 2026
A large yoga and wellness festival at Woodfordia. Free entry and camping included, Meals provided, and a great team atmosphere. And of course, plenty of dancing and live entertainment.

CaptainPOO BAR reporting in with a quick wrap from the Intergalactic S Band Warriors WFF 2025

We had an outstanding year with over 60 warriors on the ground including some honorary recruits collected from Volleywood along the way A fantastic mix of strong returning warriors and an excellent crew of new legends Everyone worked together beautifully got along well and fully embraced both the festival spirit and the warrior spirit

We have received very positive feedback from patrons organisers and fellow volunteers regarding the state of the toilets which is a true testament to the pride effort and teamwork shown by the S Band Warriors throughout the event

For a few fun stats Over the festival we used approximately 16800 rolls of toilet paper around 200 litres of vinegar roughly 450 litres of hand soap and wore out countless brooms We also added some new language to the S Band dictionary with disinfectant now affectionately known as Alien P**s and Chocolate Moose becoming the term of choice for an unfortunate diarrhoea incident

All round it was a great year Great friends were made the team was strong and the morale was high CaptainPOOBAR could not be prouder of this incredible crew of volunteers

Calling all returning S Bend Warriors. If you want to jump back in without the big end-of-year Woodford Folk Festival commitment, Lake Gkula Camping is your chance.

Volunteer for just a few hours a day, enjoy free camping, meals, and a safe, fun crew environment. Bring up to two kids under 13 for free, or even a “plus one” if you stay the week.

The role is simple, the hours are light, and you’ll be met with love and appreciation, not toilet paper or urine.

We’re looking for awesome, talented folks to join us, whether you’re single, with a family, or a seasoned traveler.

Option 1
- Short-Term Volunteering (3-6 days)
Donate ~4 hours per day and enjoy:
1 Free meal each day you volunteer and
One extra day to camp, with no rostered shift!

3 meals per day while you work
also gain an additional week of camping (or a guest can join)
Children are welcome! Bring up to two toddlers for free (youth volunteers 13-17 years not included, but may also volunteer).
As part of the S Bend Warriors, you will be maintaining the planets (toilets), ensuring all moon-tickets (toilet paper) are stocked, and keeping Mars bars (poo) to a minimum!...lol

You’ll be the superhero who keeps the peace and ensures everyone’s enjoying their time on the land.
Other Perks:
