We love to hear how our previous pre-accelerator participants are going after completing the program and this month we caught up with Jess from JR Housekeeping Services. Kerry was impressed with the professional booking system and the branding when Jess and her employee Izzy rolled up to help out with a spring clean.
Asked to provide an update, Jess said:
"In 2024, I completed the Startup Central Victoria program while in the early stages of my cleaning business JR Housekeeping Services.
My biggest takeaways from the program included, learning how to structure a business, marketing strategies and the ever-evolving technologies we are seeing today.
It was during a presentation where I had the light bulb moment of charging my services out as packages rather than an hourly rate. By thinking out of the box I found a way of advertising my business that made it stand out.
Two years later, JR Housekeeping Services has grown at a steady pace. Since completing the program, I have been fully booked out, gathered a waitlist I could only have dreamt of, hired my first employee and more!
Startup Central Victoria instilled me with the confidence I needed to make these achievements possible. Running a business has reinforced the importance of community and I'm honoured to have found one here.
JR Housekeeping Services is currently accepting new clients. We offer a range of services to offer assistance within a home, - 'not just a cleaner'
Servicing: Ballarat, Creswick, Newlyn, Clunes,
Maryborough, Avoca, Beaufort and anywhere in between.
