Expression of Interest Now Open for the 2026 MFA M-League competition. We are seeking players for our First Grade, Reserves, Women's and Colts (U21) squads.

We are doing our potting mix trial again. We have 8 Australian Standards Premium Potting mixes. We have put 10 drainage holes in the back of the bags. 4 holes in the front, and we have planted dwarf Cos Lettuce.

We will keep you up to date with the results, you can come and see the experiment.

We were hoping an independent organisation like Choice Magazine would have done this by now. In our last trial we discovered some of the brands were toxic and plants didn’t grow at all.

If you’re new to gardening, and bought these brands, then you would have blamed yourself. You may give up, and never garden again.

Your brown thumbs, might actually be green thumbs, but you’ve just bought the wrong potting mix.

This is killing the nursery industry. I want you to have success, successful gardeners, garden more. Their kids become gardeners too. Everyone in the family has better mental health outcomes.
