Important message for anyone affected by flooding in Bundaberg and surrounding areas.

We have had a number of enquiries from people needing help with water extraction, drying and carpet cleaning following floodwater, and do still have limited capacity over the coming days.

We have professional drying equipment including air movers and commercial dehumidifiers, and may be able to assist with water extraction, drying and stabilising affected areas.

With flooding still affecting parts of the region, many people will now be starting to assess damage and begin the cleanup process. Please continue to follow advice from local authorities and emergency services, as conditions can still change and floodwater can hide hazards.

If your property has been affected, it may be helpful to contact your insurance provider for guidance before starting major cleanup work.

We have also had enquiries for carpet cleaning following floodwater, often from people trying to manage affected areas in the short term. We always let people know that floodwater is generally considered Category 3 contamination, and proper restoration often involves removing affected materials and a professional clean of remaining surfaces beneath..

A few things to keep in mind:

Hi everyone,

With the recent weather event and now flooding around Bundaberg, we have been a little light in the office over the past couple of days while helping where we can and checking in on people.

Our technicians are still working where it is safe to do so, but we have been adjusting schedules depending on locations and access. We are taking things day by day and will contact anyone with upcoming bookings if we need to move appointments due to flooding.

At this stage we expect to be back in the office tomorrow as normal, although we will keep monitoring conditions and will advise if we need to leave early again.

On a positive note, the kids (Munchy Mischief Co.) also put together a delivery of popcorn for the SES as a small thank you. Thanks to all the emergency services and volunteers helping keep our community safe.
