Managed to squeeze in a quick decon, polish and spray coat to make Benny’s 8 Second Cresta look nice and shiny before SUMMERNATS this week!

With such a hectic schedule of race and promo events - not to mention travelling all the way to the USA for Drag Week 2 years in a row there was quite a bit of grime and fallout built up on the 30 year old factory Toyota paint. After stripping the fallout with iron remover and clay mitt, the car was given a light polish in order to restore the colour and finally protected with a quick spray on ceramic coating that should keep the Cresta looking mint for around 6 months 👌

Well it was great to sink my teeth back in to some coating action today.

This new Toyota Prado received a new car protection pack which starts with a proper and thorough decontamination wash to remove all residues left from shipping and fallout that isn’t removed by the basic auto wash that the dealership will perform before delivery. This decontamination includes the use of a clay mitt, iron fallout remover and also multiple stage safe wash.

Once the vehicle surfaces have been appropriately prepped it’s then time to apply our choice of ceramic coating. This product provides chemical protection against natural and man made fallout, gives that glassy look and of course makes the vehicle easier to clean and maintain - keeping it looking brand new for years to come.

Well it sure has been a hot minute since I’ve posted but I’m still out and about Detailing and resurrecting poor old neglected cars!

Super happy for my good customer Danny who won Top 1600 at the 2018 Datsun Day this morning.

Last year we prepped and coated the car but it was overlooked. This year there was another deep cleanse session with some extra care around the chrome work along with a top up of ceramic coating.

The owner of this ute spends most days on construction sites with the car being covered in concrete and dust. This fact won’t change but he did want his supercharged GS ute looking like it should.

A couple of hours (or 6) and this FPV GS is looking good again! Colour is deeper, no haze and the light to medium defects have been removed.

Back over to the paint guys for a few brush touches and then protected with Concours Nova Jet.

This prancing horse is 1 of 59! 😲😲

After 3 years of mechanical restoration, this Ferrari 412 needed a bit of a tidy up before being returned to its eager owner. Only 59 412s were made in RHD out of a total of 500 ever produced in the late 80s.

The vehicle is incredibly bespoke sharing very few components with other Ferrari models of the same generation. This has meant that we were only required to provide a light decontamination, safely wash and dress the vehicle to return it to an original appearance.
