Dad built the stone pathway. We were hired to clean it… not start a mining operation 😂⛏️

This handmade path had over 10 years of buildup, but some sections were too fragile for heavy pressure washing.

So we let the treatment do more of the work, followed by scrubbing and a thorough, controlled rinse. 🧽💦

Any more pressure and we’d have been digging for gold—and explaining why Dad’s pathway was now a trench. 😅

Knowing the surface is just as important as knowing your equipment. Every exterior cleaning job needs the right approach.

So I got called out for this job because the backyard had become pretty slippery and needed a good clean.

Simple enough… until we started cleaning and realised there was basically a whole different backyard hiding underneath the dirt.

The transformation surprised all of us. What started as a job to make the area less slippery turned into a pretty satisfying before and after.

Around 1.2 hours later — job done.

2. Because people like to tell me that it looks the same.

Bad lighting or even too much exposure can damage your driveway if you don't maintain it. Plus newly painted driveways do fade out over time.
