I’m always busy and even though it’s the Easter Long Weekend that doesn’t mean I put down the tools! A great end of lease clean of a gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment for a young couple and a real testament to the care they showed for the property they had rented for years. I look forward to cleaning for them again once they settle into their new home 👌

Stepped up my intensity even though I didn’t think it was even possible! Working with an existing client and preparing for an open house has been exhausting but so worthwhile! Doing my thing as I always do, sprinkling my magic dust, just being me and bringing my love for my job to every house I visit 🫶 this job has involved cleaning, housekeeping and pantry organising with an amazing family for the last 7 years 😍

After 60 years in the same house there’s a lot of dust to clean up when the house is sold, so a huge day today with a pre-settlement clean to be done 😊 A new family set to move in and after Pretty Particular has done her magic all they need is to move right in and unpack their bags 🏡🚚🧳

I’ve cleaned for many special events over the years but today was a first for me: a pre-wedding clean. I was so excited to be part of the special preparations and to take some of the stress out of the day for my client. This lovely lady is getting married in her unit tomorrow and as soon as she finalised the date she made contact to be sure I could help 😊 Such an honour and privilege to make a contribution to her special day ❤️

So thankful that despite many COVID disruptions Pretty Particular is still going strong, still fully booked but also somehow finding the time to squeeze in some special one-off cleans! Pre-sale cleans, move-out cleans and settlement cleans are labour intensive, but the finished product is always worthwhile ✨ love my job ❤️

This year has seen me take on two massive move-out cleans and every time I take on one I swear I will never do it again! But once it’s all done all the hard work pays off and the place just shines ✨ An enormous amount of work goes into these cleans because it’s not just a surface clean, it’s every shelf, every cupboard, every fan, the oven, dishwasher and even the fridge on this job plus of course all the usual things like bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, floors 😵‍💫 But this bush hideaway of 3 beds and 3 bathrooms is now ready for its new residents’ arrival ☺️

From Saturday 31 July 12.01am in accordance with current NSW public health orders residential cleaning is permitted to resume, providing zero contact occurs between a cleaner and the household occupants, and providing neither the cleaner or client resides in one of the currently locked-down Local Government Areas (LGA’s).

As a resident of The Hills Shire LGA I am therefore allowed to re-open for business as of 31/7 but for some clients cleaning will remain paused while for others cleaning will resume 🤪

For clients in the following LGAs cleaning may recommence:

✅ The Hills Shire

✅ Hornsby Shire

✅ Hawkesbury

For clients in the following LGAs some cleaning is permitted, but only in limited circumstances (urgent or emergency cleans: end of lease; part of care for the elderly or disabled)

❌ Blacktown

❌ Parramatta

❌ Some suburbs of Penrith

** Please note I now hold a COVID-19 Travel Registration Permit which is currently required to enter any LGA of concern **

Sadly due to NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS announced yesterday by the NSW Government, non-urgent maintenance services including cleaning services must be temporarily paused from Monday 19 July until Friday 30 July. This means all client bookings falling due between these dates must be cancelled. I intend to resume my business operations immediately these restrictions are lifted or eased to minimise the disruption to my clients, so all bookings through August and beyond remain unaffected at this stage. Since the nightmare of COVID 19 visited our lives in February 2020 I have continued to operate with the unwavering loyalty of my amazing clients so I take pause with a very heavy heart. I thank all my clients for their wonderful support and concern and I look forward to seeing everyone as soon as possible ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️ FULLY BOOKED IN 2021 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my wonderful supporters as we count down the final days of this crazy and tumultuous year of 2020. Back in March things looked very shaky as I prepared myself for a government-enforced COVID shutdown, but thankfully as an essential service I was able to continue providing cleaning services throughout the pandemic 👏 Despite being allowed to and happy to work at the height of the pandemic I fully expected the cancellations to come thick and fast, but nobody cancelled!! In fact people wanted MORE help - combined with home schooling and working from home people were busier than ever and because they were home all the time their houses were messier 🤪 So great news for me, and quite amazingly throughout 2020 I’ve retained all my clients and even managed to squeeze in a few new regulars which means that I continue to be fully booked out for the foreseeable future 🥳 So what next for Pretty Particular? For the first time ever I now am running a waiting list, and hope to launch my website in 2021, along with a new product: Pretty Particular - the Premium Packages 💎

Well we’re speeding towards the end of the year, and what an incredible year my little small business has had! I’ve hardly had a moment to breathe but it’s culminated in my best trading months ever, and not only that but I’ve actually closed my books to new clients for the rest of the year as I’m fully booked with NO FURTHER VACANCIES 🥳 I have weekly, fortnightly, monthly and casual clients, as the business I started 3 years ago continues to go from strength to strength, and so far not a dollar spent on advertising or promotion 💕 In the past few months, aside from all of my regular cleaning, I’ve done pre-sale cleans, spring cleans, lots of extras for regular clients, end of lease cleans and I’ve now diversified further, providing extras like ironing and laundry as well as a packing and unpacking service 😊 With one of my regular clients on the move she requested my help to pack up her house which is now underway, so even when there’s nothing to clean, my clients still want my services! It’s so lovely to be appreciated and trusted 😊
