Another big transformation completed for the team!

We have been working on converting an old shop into the new Toyworld store, carrying out a full strip out and fix up to help bring the space back to life.

Works completed included:
• Removal of old racking and shelving
* removal of change rooms
* Painting
* Replacement of lighting
* General shop fix ups

installed the new carpet and for installing the security systems and electrical works

Awesome effort by everyone involved — great to see the transformation from an outdated shop into a fresh new retail space ready for opening.

Family business means everyone likes to lend a hand 🌿💚

Before anyone panics — the hedge trimmer had NO battery in it and was completely safe while our little apprentice was “helping” 😂

🐍 A little reminder for our fellow garden lovers — snakes aren’t just a summer thing. While warmer weather definitely increases activity, snakes can still be seen any time of year, especially on sunny days or when disturbing rubbish piles, wood heaps, gardens, compost, tin sheets or long grass. Today we unfortunately disturbed a baby brown snake while clearing a rubbish pile.

A few important facts from the Victorian wildlife information sheets:

• Snakes usually want to avoid people and will often move on if left alone
• Keeping grass short and removing rubbish, timber piles and debris can help reduce places for snakes to hide
• Snakes are protected wildlife in Victoria and should never be approached or handled
• Even baby snakes are venomous and should be treated seriously
• If you see a snake, stay calm and move yourself, children and pets away from the area

Please be extra careful when gardening, moving materials or cleaning up around your yards — especially as the weather starts changing. Gloves, boots and checking before reaching into piles can make a huge difference. 💚🐍
