Not every day on the job brings a moment like this 🌿
While working on an offshore island within Wilsons Promontory National Park, our team identified the critically endangered species, Crimson Berry (Leptecophylla oxycedrus) and adapted works to protect it and improve its habitat.
The island also supports a range of significant ecological values, including seagrass meadows and unique coastal vegetation such as Kangaroo Fern — highlighting the importance of careful, targeted land management in these environments.
A powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Small actions in the field can have a big impact in protecting high-value ecosystems.
