Shout out to our friends over at ECU TECH Australia for bringing in their vw crafter for windscreen glass coating using only the best in protection/oerformance, modesta. After using their cerium oxide to clean the glass and remove any contaminants the glass coating was applied then cured using infrared lamp for maximum adhesion and strength.

This Holden Equinox came to us covered in tiny black sap-like spots across the paint, glass and trims.

After investigating, we discovered the culprit was a tree — and these spots were proving extremely difficult to remove.

Luckily, we don’t believe in rushing the process. We started with plenty of hot water and gave the vehicle a proper deep clean, helping to break down and loosen the contamination without being overly aggressive.

Even after removal, the spots had left staining behind in the paint.

After a thorough decontamination process followed by paint correction and polishing, we were able to restore the paintwork back to its former glory — deep, clean and glossy once again. ✨
