With the summer season almost over and the Airbnb madness slowing down, we’re reflecting.🌞

We were able to look after some beautiful Airbnb’s this summer. We thought we’d share some insights into how they booked out their properties.

🔮 Research!
Look at other properties in the area and digest. What linen are they using? What kind of towels are provided? What hand wash? How are they maximising their space and utilising their light? Lastly… what’s their nightly rate and how can we match it?

🔮Prioritise simplicity!
Add warmth to a room by adding colour, organic textures and plants. Terracotta, biscuit, brown and clay coloured linen. Our faves have been from and 🤌

🔮Most importantly… create an experience!
Here’s a few beautiful touches we’ve seen for guests when they arrive.
✨ Oil burners on ✨ music playing on arrival ✨ air conditioning on (when arriving on a hot day) ✨ chocolate, dips and cheese platter ✨ s’mores kits ✨ lolly jar ✨ good shampoo & conditioner ✨paddle boards, surf and boogie boards ✨ outdoor bath and shower ✨trampolines ✨fire pits

🔨 And if you can…Renovate!
A bathroom upgrade, toilet, kitchen or even update your outdoor living space will make a huge difference. We recommend for any work. We’ve seen the difference between the “before” and “after” bookings post reno. If you can, do it!

Happy Mama is run by happy mamas. Okay we're not always happy, like derrr. We're often:
🤹‍♀️ circus mamas (juggling lots of balls)
😴 sleep deprived mamas (with newborns and toddlers)
👯‍♀️ working mamas (working multiple jobs)

One thing we all agree on is that we're part of a village. A village of some pretty rad humans!⚡️

We understand the struggle some parents feel when returning to work. Our main goal as a business, is to make Happy Mama a workplace that people feel empowered, rewarded and fulfilled. We do this by providing flexible working arrangements with Happy Mama.

By working with Happy Mama, our village get to work around their childcare, other employment, nap times, and school pickups. This helps us get the best out of everyone so they can provide the best for us. Look after your people and they look after you, right? 😜

Our goal is to continue on with your vision by creating warm and relaxing experiences. We like to know our properties inside and out, how a guest could use a space and how we can provide a boutique experience.

We're not just cleaning, we're styling. We put ourselves in the shoes of our guests to make sure that their experience is worth the money spent, the annual leave used, the travel time and most importantly is just bloody relaxing

We love our little business. We feel pretty lucky to be able to service some of Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove's best Architecturally designed homes.

With a background in Design and Social Work, we "The Happy Mamas" are veterans at problem-solving. We also really love interior design and creating a great user experience for our staff, our clients and of course the rad people renting your home. We're definitely big-picture thinkers.
