Ever had a dye or paint spot on your carpet that seemed to spread the moment you tried to remove it? This is actually a really common frustration during the spot removal process.

One technique we use is applying a specialised chemistry barrier around the spot before treating it. This locks the dye in place so that when we go to remove it, it cannot migrate into the surrounding carpet fibres. It takes a few extra steps but it makes a significant difference to the end result.

Such a good opportunity for learning.

Thanks to the Carpet Cleaning Association of W.A. for sharing this reel, it looks like everyone had a great time. We enjoyed the workshop as well and we are looking forward to the next one.

On Saturday we attended a Carpet Cleaning Association of W.A. workshop at Perth Rug Wash in Shenton Park, and it was a great session on rug identification, dyes, fibres, and safe cleaning methods.

It was a really worthwhile day, and we are looking forward to the next workshop.
