Marnie's Garden Design

Marnie's Garden Design Let me design the garden you've been dreaming of...
Designs to suit your taste and needs, be it a co We look forward to hearing from you.

Whether you need a garden design plan to pass council requirements and build your new home, or wish to consult someone to find options for outdoor spaces of your existing home, we will have the design ideas for you. Marnie has a life long love of plants, gardening and the environment. A local Redbank resident, she enjoyed redesigning her own outdoor spaces so much that she completed a Postgraduate

Certificate of Garden Design with the Australian Academy of Garden Design to open her own business. Marnie's designs focus on contemporary spaces that support the health and well being of those who inhabit them. Designs will involve endemic native species, edibles, exotic species that are suited to our area, and focal points that help you enjoy the Australian outdoors. Environmentally and budget conscious choices can be considered within the designs. We can design spaces for you to build yourself, or for you to employ a landscaper to make the designs come to life on your doorstep. Insight into the process:
For existing homes, Marnie will provide an initial onsite consultation usually lasting up to 1 hour to assess the site, find out what you want and need for your outdoor space/s. The design process will begin after this, including:
-a mood board of images to give the direction and feel for the space,
-a scaled concept map showing location and size of any features and proposed changes,
-a scaled working/landscape plan,
-and a thorough document outlining suggested preparation, the proposed changes, a planting table, possible local suppliers and how to maintain your design once it is built. It may take a number of weeks for this process to be complete. For new builds, an onsite consultation is possible for registered land, yet not always required if the documentation is supplied detailing the proposed build, and features of the land after building. After the design process is complete, you will receive a soft copy of all of your documents and hardcopies are supplied at no extra cost to those who prefer them.

Gardener's best friends, beneficial insects: Praying mantis
This egg is attached to a bottle brush branch, it will release up to 200 baby praying mantis to eat other insects in the garden such as aphids. Keep an eye out for these when pruning, praying mantis help gardeners against pests naturally.
