Sometimes the best service you can provide is knowing when to say, “This is beyond my scope.” 👌
I recently attended a customer enquiry expecting it to be a standard gutter-related issue. After assessing the situation, I realised the main problems required works outside of what we professionally handle at GutterVac Melton.
Instead of attempting a job we’re not properly equipped for, I provided the customer with photos of 2 problem areas and advised them to seek further specialist attention.
As business owners, tradespeople, or service providers, it can be tempting to say yes to every job. But overstretching our capabilities can sometimes create bigger problems for the customer later on.
At the end of the day:

✅ Professionalism means knowing your limits
✅ Customers appreciate transparency more than empty promises
