We just installed 30 lineal metres of damp proof course at a local child care centre using pressure injection. The treatment is pumped deep into the brickwork under pressure, so it spreads evenly through the wall and forms a solid barrier against moisture coming up from the ground.

That means no more salt damage, flaking walls or musty smells, just a healthier space for the kids and staff.

This Northcote home got the full treatment. We started with a heritage brick clean to bring back the original colour, then did single colour red tuckpointing with fine black lines, injected a rising damp treatment, and repointed with a classic rolled joint finish.

Another one done in Clifton Hill 🧱

On this heritage home we gave the brickwork a careful heritage-grade clean to lift years of grime without damaging the face of the bricks. We then installed a new damp course to stop rising damp in its tracks, and finished it all off with single-colour tuckpointing for a clean, uniform look that suits the era of the house.

The result is a facade that’s protected, restored and looking the way it was meant to.

On this project, we commenced with a chemical steam clean to safely remove layers of paint and embedded carbon staining. We then completed a single-colour tuck pointing finish with cwhite ribbons, enhancing the overall brickwork appearance. All works were meticulously hand tooled using our traditional methods to ensure an authentic and high quality result.

Rose Street, Fitzroy — just over 200 m² of struck brick repointing.
We cut the joints clean, packed them with a traditional lime mix suited to the heritage brickwork, and struck them for a sharp, even line. Once the pointing was complete, the whole face was hand-cleaned so the brick reads properly again — restored, not patched.

Lime mortar matters on a wall like this. It stays flexible, lets the façade breathe, and protects the brick for the long run.
