Your smartphone carries more germs than a toilet seat — here’s how to clean it.
I know you all take it in to the toilet with you and do your best reading and "catching up" on current events in there.... it's an age old custom... beginning with the newspaper... dating back to... well everyones dad? I know my dad did it 😂

A 2017 study published in the journal "Germs" looked at 27 mobile phones owned by teenagers, and found “bacterial contamination” on all of them. another study from the university of Arizona in 2012 said Mobile phones carry 10 times more bacteria than a toilet seat. Toilet seats are cleaned frequently; mobile phones are not. 🤢

First up take your phone out of it's case and throughly wash in hot soapy water and air dry.

Apple says it’s safe to wipe down hard, nonporous surfaces like its screen with a Disinfectant Wipe or 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe, but do not submerge your phone in a cleaning product. Pay attention to the crevices in your phone, on off switch, sound buttons and ports. you'll be surprised at the visible dirt you'll see.

Avoid getting moisture in the charging port, and do not use spray cleaners on the device.

You can scrub your phone with a microfiber cloth, which can be purchased online.
