Targeting a 5 Star Green Star outcome takes more than adding plants at the end of a fitout šŸŒæ

At A W Edwardsā€™ St Leonards headquarters, Tropical Plant Rentals worked alongside Gray Puksand, Rintoul and A W Edwards to integrate planting into custom joinery and support the projectā€™s targeted 5 Star outcome under Green Star Interiors v1.3.

We assessed the low-light conditions, selected durable sculptural species and calculated the soil volumes required for long-term plant growth. Multiple site inspections allowed us to coordinate plant sizes, root systems and growth habits precisely with the cabinetry dimensions.

That planning meant our five-person specialist crew completed the installation in just four hours, well inside the two-day programme while protecting every finished surface.

Installation was only the beginning. Weā€™re proud to have continued as A W Edwardsā€™ plant partner for three years, providing ongoing monitoring and proactive horticultural care. Every original plant is still performing.
