Hey Team.
My family and I would truly appreciate if you can spare a minute or 2 to sign the petition below or donate a small amount of money. This is my Little Nephew Bentley that loves shooting.
Let’s show him how the shooting community comes together
💙💙
We recently received a message from a Victorian mum named Chloe Clugston, and we're hoping our CommunityPete family can help her make a difference.
Chloe is the proud mum of a beautiful little boy named Bentley, who is just 5 years old and living with a rare genetic condition called Hunter Syndrome.
Hunter Syndrome is a progressive, life-limiting disease that currently has no cure. It almost exclusively affects boys and is believed to affect fewer than 2,000 people worldwide.
The condition means Bentley's body is missing an important enzyme responsible for breaking down certain waste products inside his cells. Over time, this waste builds up and causes damage throughout the body, affecting development, organs and physical abilities.
Now, Chloe is on a mission to make sure children like Bentley and the families living with this devastating condition are seen, heard and supported.
She's started a petition calling for the third week of October to be officially recognised as Hunter Syndrome Awareness Week here in Victoria.
It's a simple request, but one that could make a huge difference in raising awareness, educating the wider community and giving these families a much-needed voice.
As Chloe said in her message, the Hunter Syndrome community might be small, but they're trying to make some noise for their boys.
And that's where we come in.
We've got an incredible community here, and if we can help this mum get her petition across the finish line, then why wouldn't we?
Signing the petition only takes a moment, but for Chloe, Bentley and the other families facing this condition, that small gesture could mean the world.
You can sign and support Chloe's petition here:

Even if you can't sign, sharing this post could help it reach someone who can.
Let's see what we can do for little Bentley and all the other boys living with Hunter Syndrome.
