🌿 Monday Availability – Extra Pair of Hands at Home! 🌿
Hi everyone! I have availability tomorrow (Monday) and would love to help out if anyone needs an extra pair of hands 😊
I offer:
✨ Cleaning
✨ Tidying & organising
✨ Child minding (while getting jobs done around the house!)
✨ General household help – anything a “mum” would normally do in the home
I currently have:
🕘 9:15am–12:15pm (3-hour slot)
🕧 12:45pm–2:45pm (2-hour slot)
Perfect if you’re feeling behind, need to reset the house, or just want to breathe a little easier!

💕 A New Chapter for Mummy Poppins 💕
After a lot of reflection, I’m excited to share that from early February, Mummy Poppins will be gently shifting its focus to postpartum and family support for new mothers.
This work is about offering the kind of care that feels like having another trusted mother in your home — practical, nurturing, and supportive during the early weeks of motherhood.
❤️ Support may include:
• Meal preparation and light household help (no cleaning)
• Folding laundry and practical organisation
• Holding or caring for baby so mum can rest or shower
• Calm, nurturing baby play and supervision
• Emotional support, reassurance, and compassionate listening
This service is non-medical and non-clinical, and is designed to support — not replace — medical or mental health care.
With a Bachelor in Social Science and lived experience as a mum of five, this new direction feels deeply aligned with the heart of Mummy Poppins.

I can’t believe Mummy Poppins has already been operating for 1 month! 🎉 Isn’t it funny how time can go so quickly, yet feel like it’s also been forever?! I wanted to say a giant THANK YOU to everybody for all the support and bookings - just last week I was able to leave my other job, as I’ve been so busy with MP 😍 I’ve also loved meeting so many different people and their families. I often think about them as I’m tidying, organising or cleaning, and imagine them coming home and seeing their house ✨ the hours are also working so well for my family, and seeing my kids get so excited when I get more bookings just warms my heart so much. I appreciate all of you 💕 hope you all have a great week 😊

Over the past couple of weeks, I have spent some time re-organising and labelling my linen cupboard. It didn’t end up costing too much - the white basket style containers were only $7 each (from obviously 🤣), with the clear plastic containers being slightly more expensive, but still reasonable. I would say the whole project cost me around $150-$200. My lovely sister in law did the labels for me on her cricut (which I would love to invest in one day!)

I definitely think it was worth it, the linen cupboard is one of those spaces that can really be mentally irritating every time you open the doors! It’s surprised me how organised it’s stayed… one of my faves says… if you have good systems in place around the home, it’s so much easier to keep tidy and organised. Definitely very true!!
The next project I’ll be tackling is the pantry… can’t wait to label it all and make it pretty 🤩

How beautiful were these flowers I bought from in Samford?! I was having some photos taken for Mummy Poppins, and wanted some flowers for the background. I asked the lovely ladies for something with lots of bright colours - a ‘happy’ bunch of flowers. I couldn’t have been happier with what they came up with! They brightened up my day for weeks afterwards, as I’d see then every time I walked into my kitchen. There’s something about fresh flowers that just make your home feel happy 😍

Today I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely mum and her 3 week old baby. I’m sure all the parents out there can relate when I say it’s the most rewarding, exhausting, happy and tiring times in life! I felt so lucky to be able to spend time with these two, and such joy to be able to help this beautiful mum.

Baby and I had a great time folding clothes then hanging out washing. I then spent some time singing and chatting with baby (sorry for the noise 🤣) before it was time for a nappy change then a sleep. I had time for a quick mop and some ironing before I was off for the afternoon. So glad that mum was able to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Happy Friday everyone!!! I have had a busy week here, which has been great! I started putting together a flat pack, organised and cleaned a laundry, spent a few hours ironing, cleaned bathrooms, tidied kids bedrooms, and spent 5 hours doing a spring clean for a busy working mum today. I can’t wait for her to come home and see her clean and tidy house!

Did you know I also work as a wellness coach at a rehab and wellness centre? I also squeezed in a couple of shifts there this week 🥰

We are celebrating my sons 9th birthday here tomorrow, so I will be ‘mummy poppinsing’ (yes that’s a word 🤣) my own house in the morning. I’ll hopefully have a more relaxing day on Sunday 😊
