Behind every small business is a person..
With over 3k followers now, I think it's time I properly introduce myself 🤯👋
I'm Emma, the face behind Peace Of Mind Cleaning Pty Ltd.
For years I've happily hidden behind the business, the logo, the social media posts and my incredible team. But lately I've realised that if I'm asking others to be brave enough to ask for help, I should probably be brave enough to show up too.
I'm a mum, entrepreneur, op-shop lover, craft hoarder, book collector, horror enthusiast, and someone whose brain is wonderfully wired a little differently. "Neurospicy" as I like to say 😉
I'm recently AuDHD (Autistic + ADHD) and OCD diagnosed. The last few years haven't always been easy. I found myself in a place of complete burnout, trying to hold everything together while quietly falling apart. During that time, I learnt something that changed me forever...
When you're struggling, people often don't know what to say. Some disappear when you no longer serve a purpose to them. Some assume someone else will help. And sometimes, you're left feeling incredibly alone 😔
That experience planted the seed for The Porch Light Project. I wanted to create something that reminded people they don't have to have it all together to deserve kindness. A clean home won't solve every problem, but it's a start, and can give someone room to breathe, to reset, and to feel seen.

Outside of work, I also volunteer in a few different roles because giving back has become a huge part of who I am. Whether it's through cleaning, community work, or simply showing up for someone having a hard time, I truly believe small acts of kindness can change lives.
Peace of Mind Cleaning has also never just been about cleaning houses. It's about helping busy families. It's about easing the mental load. It's about restoring "peace of mind".
So... this is me 🤷♀️
A little quirky. A little awkward. A little obsessed with spotless bathrooms. Probably covered in cleaning products or halfway through another craft project. But above all else, someone who genuinely cares.
