🦠 Sickness in a house can completely change a cleaner’s week 😅

Since starting my own business, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this sick 🤧 Between working in different homes, looking after kids, and trying to keep everything running, it definitely catches up sometimes.

I never judge anyone for being sick, life happens! But I greatly appreciate when clients let me know if there’s illness in the home before a clean. Even just a quick heads up helps me prepare properly, protect myself and my family, and make sure I can continue showing up for all my lovely clients.

If you or the kids are unwell, please don’t stress, just communicate with me beforehand 😊

Running a small business means you pour your heart into your work every single day. Unfortunately, sometimes people will have a negative experience, misunderstandings happen, or comments get made publicly instead of privately.

School/daycare drop off ✔️
Coffee in hand ✔️
Cleaning kit packed ✔️

Then it’s onto making homes feel fresh, reset and a little less overwhelming for busy families 🤍

Between the vacuum lines, endless loads of washing, chatting with lovely clients and being greeted by everyone’s pets, no two days are ever the same.

Running a business while being a mum can be chaotic, especially now my family have the flu, but I’m so grateful this is my job 🫶

I’m looking for a reliable, friendly cleaner to join my small business.

I service Fernvale, Lowood, Ipswich area, and potential more in the near future, and I’m needing someone to start with 1–2 days a week, with potential for more hours over time.

What the job involves:

* General & spring residential cleans
* Some NDIS clients
* Working independently and sometimes alongside me.

I’m looking for someone who:

* Is reliable and shows up on time
* Has a good eye for detail
* Is friendly and respectful in clients homes
* Has (or is willing to get) an ABN
* Has a licence & own transport

✨ Experience is a bonus, but not essential if you’re willing to learn

A little life update 🦋

The past week hasn’t quite gone to plan… after getting stitches, they unfortunately became infected and have now come loose, which has meant I’ve had to slow down more than I’d like.

Running a business, it’s never easy taking time off, but sometimes your body makes the decision for you. I’m focusing on resting, healing properly, and making sure I come back 100% rather than pushing through and making it worse.
