A letter from mum:
A LITTLE UPDATE FROM THE WIZZBIN WHIZZ-KID
After plenty of thought, unfortunately Abel has made the difficult decision to hang up the bin cleaning gear- for now.
Due to ongoing issues with his back and knee, the physical side of bin cleaning has simply become a little too much. Right now, Abel’s number one priority needs to be looking after his body, managing his pain and giving himself the chance to feel his best.
Whether this is the end of The WizzBin Whizz-kid or simply an extended intermission, we don’t quite know yet. Never say never!
What we do know is just how incredibly grateful we are to everyone who has supported Abel on this little entrepreneurial adventure.
To every person who booked him, recommended him, shared his posts, encouraged him, stopped for a chat or simply gave a young kid with a business idea a chance- thank you.
Your support has meant far more than just giving Abel bins to clean. You helped encourage his independence, confidence, work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, and that is something he’ll carry with him into whatever comes next.
And speaking of what comes next…
Abel certainly hasn’t lost his entrepreneurial streak!
He’s now on the hunt for his next little business venture - preferably one that is a little kinder on his back and knee.
He has previously helped neighbours while they’ve been away by:
🌿 Watering gardens and plants
🐾 Feeding and checking on pets
🏡 Keeping an eye on things around the home
💧 Helping with other small, light household jobs
He absolutely loves being given a little responsibility and would be thrilled to pick up more jobs like these.
So, if you're heading away and need someone to water the garden, pop in and feed your pets, or have another Abel-friendly job that isn't too physically demanding, we'd love to hear from you.
This may be the end of one chapter, but knowing Abel, the next entrepreneurial quest probably isn't too far away.
Thank you for cheering on The WizzBin Whizz-kid and, most importantly, the kid behind it.
Watch this space… Abel’s next big idea is loading.
