At Get’Em Gone Pest Control, we don’t rely on basic, off-the-shelf products. Our advanced treatment programs are designed to perform even when weather conditions aren’t perfect.

• Internal treatments are completely unaffected by rain • External treatments use professional-grade, rain-resistant formulations that bond to surfaces once dry • Protected areas such as eaves, verandahs, and under elevated homes can still be treated effectively in wet weather

In many cases, our treatments remain effective after light rain because they are formulated to adhere to surfaces and continue working, rather than washing away like cheaper alternatives.

Rain can also work in your favour during termite inspections. Increased moisture highlights drainage issues, leaks, and high-risk zones — allowing us to identify potential problems before they turn into damage.

There are still situations where timing matters. Certain garden-based ant treatments or areas where runoff is unavoidable may need better conditions. If that’s the case, we’ll explain it clearly and organise a follow-up visit at no extra cost to ensure the best possible result.

This is also why we confidently back our work. All general pest treatments completed in January come with an extended warranty through to 30 April 2026.

If rain is forecast on your service day, there’s no need to worry. With Get’Em Gone’s advanced treatments, we’ll complete everything that can be done properly, safely, and effectively — and only recommend rescheduling when it genuinely benefits you.

Summer pest tip most people don’t realise 👇

In summer, pests aren’t coming inside because your house is “dirty”.

They’re coming inside because of temperature and moisture.

• Heat drives insects to cooler indoor areas
• Humidity attracts ants, cockroaches and silverfish
• Even small water sources (pet bowls, condensation, leaky taps) are enough

Simple things that help during summer:
– Wipe up moisture around sinks and bathrooms
– Fix slow leaks early
– Avoid leaving pet food out overnight
– Keep doors and windows sealed where possible
