At Oak & Ivory Cleaning Co., we provide detailed end-of-lease cleaning services designed to help tenants, landlords and property managers prepare a property for final inspection and handover.

Our team focuses on presentation, attention to detail and checklist-based cleaning, helping ensure the property is left fresh, clean and inspection-ready.

Our end-of-lease cleaning may include:
• Kitchen cleaning
• Bathroom and toilet cleaning
• Oven and cooktop cleaning
• Cupboards and drawers wiped inside and out

Casual Cleaners / Housekeepers Wanted – Canberra City
Oak & Ivory Cleaning Co.

Oak & Ivory Cleaning Co. is looking for reliable casual cleaners/housekeepers to join our growing team.

We currently have ongoing Airbnb and short-stay apartment cleaning work in the same building in Canberra City. Cleaning is usually required between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, depending on guest check-out and check-in times.

This role would suit someone with hotel, housekeeping, serviced apartment or Airbnb cleaning experience who takes pride in presenting apartments to a high guest-ready standard.

About the role:

- Casual employment
- Ongoing Airbnb and short-stay apartment cleaning work
- Cleaning apartments in Canberra City
- Bed making, linen and towel handling
- Kitchen, bathroom and general apartment cleaning
- Restocking guest amenities
- Equipment and cleaning chemicals provided
- Cleaning checklists and training provided
- Work usually required between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm
- Weekend and public holiday rates apply

Pay and entitlements:

Paid in accordance with the applicable Fair Work Pay Guide / Cleaning Services Award rates.

Current Casual Level 1 rates are:

Monday to Friday ordinary hours: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $45.24 per hour
Sunday: $58.16 per hour
Public holiday: $71.09 per hour

Rates will be updated in accordance with Fair Work requirements when award rates change.

Superannuation is paid in accordance with legislation, and all applicable workplace entitlements will be provided.

A performance bonus may also be available for reliability, quality, attention to detail and consistency.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, honest and punctual
- Detail-focussed and proud of their work
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to follow checklists and presentation standards
- Respectful of private apartments, guest belongings, keys and building rules
- Physically fit for housekeeping duties, including making beds and handling linen
- Available during the 10:00 am – 3:00 pm cleaning window
- Interested in regular ongoing work with a growing local business

Hotel, housekeeping, serviced apartment or Airbnb experience is highly regarded.

Due to the nature of the work, references and a police check may be requested.
