In 2 of the last 3 inspections in Burleigh Waters I’ve found these bad boys in garden mulch right next to the houses. They look harmless but make no mistake, these termites (Shedorhinotermes) are house-eaters. Your annual timber pest inspection isn’t something to put on the back burner.

This Currumbin family weren’t going to bother with a pest and termite inspection this year! Luckily they did and we got rid of them before it was catastrophic. If you see or suspect some termite activity DON’T Disturb them or the area, give your licensed pest manager a call ASAP.
