A water leak had soaked the interior, creating the perfect conditions for mould to spread through the carpets, seats and cabin.

This job required far more than wiping down the visible mould, after locating 5 water leaks and fixing them, the real work started 😬

Guys i have been inundated with calls and messages this past week from people enquiring and wanting to protect their vehicles and if its worth it, ITS DEFINATLEY WORTH IT!! and it’s great to see more people recognising the benefits of a professionally installed ceramic coating.

A professional coating adds insane gloss, makes regular washing easier, helps repel water and contamination, and provides long-term protection with far less ongoing maintenance.

I am a Gtechniq Accredited Professional Installer, highly skilled with over 25 years experience and approved to apply Gtechniq’s professional-grade coating systems.

A word of advice, though, don’t just choose the cheapest coating package, make sure your comparing apples for apples!

I have done several rectification jobs where poor preparation, incorrect application or low-quality products left the paintwork smeared, uneven or improperly protected. Before the vehicle can be coated correctly, the failed coating must be professionally removed and the paintwork corrected.
That means paying for the job twice, with almost double the labour involved.

I feel so bad for these guys as i completely get trying to find a bargin these days.

This came in after the dog had been sick throughout the front interior. The mess had worked into the seats, carpet and tight areas around the seat rails, so a quick surface clean was never going to cut it.
The front seats were removed to allow better access and a much more thorough clean underneath and around every mounting point.

This Kia came in for a complete makeover 😎 5-year Gtechniq Australia Australia CSL coating topped with EXO!
After a year of daily family life and plenty of abuse from the kids, the interior was absolutely trashed.
Food, rubbish, dirt through the carpets and mats, marks through the rear seats and all the usual signs of a hard-worked family car.

A water leak had left this Holden Colorado with mould spreading through the interior.

This wasn’t a quick surface clean. We first identified where the water was getting in and repaired the leak before starting the mould removal and interior restoration.

The process included:
👉 Leak detection and repair
👉 Full interior strip-down
👉 Mould treatment
👉 Deep cleaning of the floor and carpet
👉 Thorough drying
👉 Interior refitted once everything was clean and dry

There’s no point removing mould without fixing the cause first. By tracing and repairing the leak, we could make sure the problem wouldn’t simply return.
Water damage can spread far beyond what you can see on the surface, especially underneath carpet, seats and trims.

This was a full interior strip-out and decontamination job.
Last night I posted a few photos, this is the full extent 😱
When mould, moisture, dirt, food, hair and grime get trapped under the carpet and into the underlay, a quick vacuum and wipe-down won’t touch it. To do it properly, the interior has to come apart so the hidden contamination can be cleaned at the source.
What was involved:
👉 Seats removed
👉 Interior trims removed
👉 Carpet removed from the vehicle
👉 Heavy debris vacuumed out
👉 Floor pan cleaned and decontaminated
👉 Mould and contamination treated
👉 Steam cleaning through affected areas
👉 Deep shampoo with extraction
👉 Underlay and carpet deep cleaned
👉 Hidden dirt, hair and grime removed
👉 Interior dried properly before reassembly

This kind of work is slow, detailed and specialised. It takes the right process, person, the right equipment and the patience to do it properly.
