Site Leading Hand - Swimming Pool & Landscape Construction
About the Role
You'll be the person leading our installation crews on-site.
Working alongside the Project Manager, you'll ensure every project runs safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while mentoring apprentices and labourers.
You'll still be hands-on, but you'll also be responsible for making sure every day runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
• Lead installation crews on site
• Coordinate daily works
• Read construction plans
• Install fibreglass swimming pools
• Operate excavators, skid steers and machinery
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Ensure quality workmanship
• Complete site inspections
• Maintain WHS compliance
• Communicate with clients professionally
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Ensure projects stay on schedule
• Take ownership of every project as if it were your own
We're looking for someone who
✔ Leads by example
✔ Has excellent communication skills
✔ Loves working outdoors
✔ Can solve problems without needing to be micromanaged
✔ Takes pride in quality work
✔ Has construction experience
✔ Machinery experience is highly regarded
✔ HR licence (desirable)
✔ White Card
✔ Current Driver's Licence
