Social distancing in practice at our own local wine store. Avoid the crowds and queues at the big guys who are guaranteed to make it through and support this local business.

COVID-19 Update March 28, 2020

To tell you the truth folks, I have no idea how long we will remain trading before a total lock down occurs. I do think this weekend we will find out a hell of a lot more insofar as what will remain essential and what will not.

Until then we are asking everyone who enters the store to follow 1.5m social distancing and to also refrain from grabbing bottles only unless that bottle is for you. If you have any questions about wine please do not hesitate to ask either Tim or Kelsey a question. We are here to help.

We will also be continuing home the delivery service which is on offer to the Greater Brunswick area; for the time being however.

Be safe, stay well, keep washing your hands and sip it if you've got it.

The Moldy Fig are offering discounts on pickup and have a takeaway liquor licence 🤩

Never a truer word spoken!

Victoria is closing all “non-essential” venues from midday tomorrow. All these changes are coming about in a hurry, so best you get down to your local Brunswick East Wine Store to get wine while you still can. Although if the worst happens and you get coronavirus, or the government makes them close, Tim will deliver orders over $60.

I met Taco down at Alchemy Brewing in Brunswick, right before Dan Andrews said he was shutting down non-essential services over the next 48 hours. You’ve still got time to get down here before they close and have a pint or get some takeaway.

Stay tuned to see what they do post closure. Alcohol will be an essential service to many during these tough times and with beer this good, hopefully they will be able to offer a pick up or delivery service.
