Skedaddle Handmade has been born from my need to sew and work with gorgeous fabrics. My daughter has inspired me to create and sew - the spoils of which I would like to share with others. Here at Skedaddle Handmade baby and toddler clothing, toys, bibs and nappy wallets are sewn with the utmost care. From the cutting of the fabric to the trimming of the threads, every step has been completed to pe

rfection by a passionate designer/sewer who loves what she is making! I am constantly drawn to sew by all the delicious fabric that is available. I aim to create items that resonate funky, chic and different! I don't want my creations to look like anything that can be bought from a commercial store. Come on down to Sandgate Hawks Twilight markets! It's a beautiful evening with lots of great stalls and of course Skedaddle Handmade is showing off some lovely clothes!

Selling a house sure does cut down my sewing time :( But I must think of the positives...I am aiming for a sewing room in the next house! If we ever sell and find a new one to buy...one day maybe.

I am doing my first market in AGES this weekend! Skedaddle Handmade will be showing off dresses, bibs and cushions at:

Spring Fair City North Baptist Church
52 Yiada St Kedron
Sat 8th October 2-5pm

There is a $15 entry fee that pays for afternoon tea and a ticket in the lucky door prize (which I will be donating to). Come along to see what's on offer from other great local and handmade businesses and of course me!

I have been busy creating a new line to add to my repertoire. I will share soon. Also I have had a business logo designed by Nat from Nattyjane Designs. She has done an excellent job. I highly recommend her services for business needs but also for heaps of other great design work. I will unveil the new logo in the next few days.
