19 seconds with my favourite charming man and lurker behind the scenes 📹🐶

Mr B couldn’t resist involving himself in the frame when I was taking some photos of recent handiwork 🪢✂️. So, when I tried using some treats to get him to look in line with the camera, naturally any sense of cooperation faded away 🫠😂.

Barney’s superpower is irrefutably managing to be cute, all while still being disobedient and non-cooperative, (I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️😂.)

✨Romanticising dreamy, textured details, so nice they make you look twice! 🌸

It feels a little disclosing to reveal 🤭 but, this intentionally-placed, embroidered, floral patch cleverly (and most resourcefully!) conceals a slight stain incurred on this trusty, wide-brim 👒💐

Recently i’ve been exploring 🔍 the delights of the intersection of colour, texture and pattern as inspired by the designs you often see used in the weaving of friendship bracelets 👯‍♀️〰️. Though, instead of using embroidery thread, I’ve opted for macramé cord for a bolder and instantly larger-scale finished piece 🌟🪢.

I’ve used a repeating chevron design here as the basis for a hat band 👒 (also doubles up as a bonus headband aswell!). Playfully selecting colours that both compliment and bring some further vibrancy and detailing to this gorgeous, dark green, wide-brim hat from my personal faves ~ 💚.

Also carrying an air of nostalgia✨ and a throwback to cheery, wholesome moments, forever-anchoring in time 🙏🏻🕰️, I’m most excited to explore this pattern and series of techniques in larger scale pieces for the year ahead! ✂️. Of course, If you have any ideas or requests, please let me know!
