The Opportunity
We are seeking Casual/Part-Time Gardening Labourers who will work alongside a partner to maintain and improve outdoor spaces. Successful hires may have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles further into the new year, depending on performance, availability, and how well you fit into our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Routine & One-Off Gardening Tasks
• Mowing lawns
• Whipper snipping (line trimming)
• Hedge trimming
• General weeding
• Light gardening duties (e.g., planting, pruning)
• Labouring Assistance
• Moving branches, stacking timber, and other general tasks on larger projects
• Quality & Safety
• Work safely, efficiently, and adhere to Terra Group’s standards of excellence
• Team Collaboration
• Communicate effectively with your assigned colleague and supervisors
• Make informed judgment calls on the job while also knowing when to ask for guidance
• Customer Interaction
• Represent Terra Group professionally, maintaining a customer-focused approach
What We’re Looking For
• Passion & Positive Attitude
• A genuine interest in garden maintenance and outdoor work
• Customer Service Skills
• Friendly, respectful, and confident in speaking with clients
• Driver’s License
• A valid driver’s license for traveling to various job sites
• Experience (Preferred, Not Essential)
• Prior gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but we welcome newcomers eager to learn
• Independence & Initiative
• Ability to handle tasks on your own but also know when to seek help
• Team Player
• Eager to collaborate closely with a partner for safety, quality, and efficiency
Training & Development
All new hires will undergo a 6-week trial and training period. This phase helps you learn our techniques, understand our quality standards, and refine your skills.
