Worked our magic on this little private green, one rinker and one of the worst surfaces we have ever seen.

This is half of what we got after our last clean at our home club. Our green has been cleaned several times and this built up in 12 months. Dust in the air settles in the weave and seals it creating the perfect storm for mould and algae, now this has been removed our algaecide can be more effective. Sweeping and poisoning isn’t enough. If you have a green that is visibly showing mould … Houston you have a problem. Reach out, replacing your green isn’t your only option. St Leonard’s looked ok at a glance this is half of what we removed from the weave. Happy bowling. Clogged greens lead to mould that leads to issues both on and off the field. Who wants to bowl on dirty greens? There Is no need they can be cleaned.

Clifton Springs just had it’s first clean. A sample of the dust, dirt and mould that accumulates in our greens. We are told all we need is a sweep and poison, far from the truth.
If you know a club that has a green that is dirty, pools when it rains it doesn’t necessarily mean that its stuffed or you have bad drainage, probably more so it is clogged with years of dirt. Deep seeded dirt in this 17 yr sand filled in the Malley. Quambatook might not have a pub at the moment but it has a cracking bowling club. A small club that is so hospitable and is why we are so passionate about rejuvenating greens. Bowls clubs are so important to our communities, for both mental and physical health. Greens are being immaturely replaced. This puts small clubs at risk. Bowl administrators, bowls heads of state, bowls leaders, local and state governments, do you want these clubs to survive? It’s so important to our sport and communities even more so rural towns. Talk to us! Please, Please, Please, bowls clubs are community hubs.
